Applied Microbial Remediation Technician

IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)

This IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ (Indoor Environmental Quality) investigations or other related professions. In order to take this course you must obtain a WRT certification.

August IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Training

The Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is designed to teach restoration personnel better concepts when performing water damage related remediation work. This course is intended to teach workers effective techniques for drying structures and at the end of class each student has the opportunity to be certified through the IICRC. The WRT class is highly useful for restoration contractors, insurance companies, and more. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer back-flows, and contamination such as mold. (3 day course; 19 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks).

At Jenkins University you will have the unique opportunity to utilize our hands-on flood house. You will see first-hand what it looks like to take moisture readings, extract water, and set up drying equipment. You will also learn what it takes to dry out wet materials like drywall, carpet, hardwood flooring, and more.
