THE CALL:
In July 2018, a devastating fire destroyed a residential family home. The fire started while the homeowner was working on pottery, and the oxyacetylene torch fell, igniting the entirety of the garage. Even though the fire department was promptly on the scene, the damage encompassed the entirety of the garage. After a safe evacuation and securing the property with boards and tarp, the fire reignited later that night inside the walls, spreading quickly to the remainder of the home.
